What types of visas are issued to Poland?
Polish legislation provides for different types of visas. A visa in Poland may vary depending on the period of validity (from 3 months to 5 years), the number of travel authorizations (single entry, double entry, multiple entry) and the grounds for its issuance (tourist visa, student visa, Poland work visa and others).
Depending on the purpose of travel, there are the following types of visa:- Short-term Schengen Visa C (this visa is issued once, twice or multiple times. This visa is issued for the period of validity, not more than 90 days in a period of 6 months). This visa is issued not only for Belarusians, Ukrainians, Moldovans, but also for Asians, such as: Filipinos, Indians, etc.
- Schengen visa, the validity of which is limited for stay in the territory, “LTV”.
- Transit Airport Schengen Visa “A”.
- Long-term National Visa D (entitles you to stay in Poland during the period of validity of the national visa, in addition to staying in the territory of other Schengen countries and this visa to Poland is issued for a maximum period of validity of up to 90 days during each 180-day period, in a calendar year, which is counted from the date of entry into the countries of the agreement). Remember that a tick visa to Poland cannot exceed a validity period of more than 1 year.
How long can I stay in the schengen area if I obtain the Schengen Visa?

The Schengen Visa is valid in the Schengen Area and allows its holder to stay in the territory of all Schengen Area Member Countries for a maximum of 90 days during a 180-day period.

Is it possible to get a refusal in the process of issuing a visa in Poland?
Refusal to issue a visa to Poland may occur for the following reasons:
- inclusion in the list of persons whose stay in Poland is undesirable,
- negative opinion of visa authorities who consider that your stay in the country may pose a threat to national defense or security or to public safety, order and health.
When applying for a national visa to Poland, the foreigner has submitted:
- the visa application form contains incorrect personal data, false information, or submitted documents with such inaccuracies,
- untruthful statements or the concealment of truth during the visa application process, including forging or altering a document for use as authentic,
- failure to substantiate the purpose or conditions of the planned stay,
- reasonable doubts concerning the intention to leave the territory of the Republic of Poland before the visa expiration date,
- a refusal to issue a visa in Poland by the consul is presented in the form of a decision
If there is a decision to refuse this type of visa, an appeal can be made to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Types of Work Visa in Poland
As a member of the European Union (EU), Poland allows citizens of other EU member states to work without the need for a work permit. However, for most individuals from outside the EU, obtaining a Poland work visa is necessary, along with a work permit.
There are several types of visas available for non-EU citizens seeking entry into Poland for employment purposes, including:
- Work Permit (Type A): Required for foreign individuals working for a Polish employer.
- Work Permit (Type C or E): Available for those sent to work in Poland through an intracompany transfer.
- Business visa (Schengen Visa C or D)
- Freelance/entrepreneur visa

Do i have to get a Poland work permit for Poland work visa application?
If you want to work in Poland on the basis of a visa, you need to apply for a Poland work permit.
Your employer must issue a Poland work permit for you. A Poland work permit (like a residence permit) is issued by the Voivodeship Office where your employer is located. A Poland work permit entitles the foreigner to work only for the specific employer specified in the work permit.
How do I make a payment for a service? How much will I pay for it?
We start by signing a service contract. The contract specifies exactly how the service will be provided. From the moment you sign the contract, you will have 3 days to make the first payment: 300 euros.
Once we have prepared the visa application package for you, we will ask you to pay – 600 euros before we send it to you. Here you will also have 3 days to make this payment.
Once you receive your visa for Poland, we will send you a link to pay the remainder of our fee – 300 euros. Here you will have 5 days from receipt of your visa to make this payment,

A foreigner entering the territory of the Republic of Poland must have at least:
1) 300 PLN if the duration of the planned stay does not exceed 4 days,
2) 75 PLN for each day of the planned stay, if the planned stay exceeds 4 days.

According to the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of February 23, 2015 on the financial means required from a foreigner entering the territory of the Republic of Poland and the documents that can prove the possibility of obtaining such means, as well as the purpose and duration of the planned stay pursuant to Article 26 (1) of the Act of December 12, 2013 on foreigners (Journal of Laws, item 1650 and of 2014, items 463 and 1004), the foreigner must have financial means to cover the costs of:
– accommodation during the stay in the territory,
– return travel to the country of origin or residence,
– transit through this territory to a third country that authorizes entry;
and the documents
– that can prove the possibility of obtaining these funds in accordance with the law, as well as the purpose and duration of the foreigner’s intended stay.
If you obtain an annual visa based on employment, you will need to document approximately 27,500 PLN.
Is the Polish residence permit considered a travel document?
When valid, the Polish residence permit confirms the identity of a foreigner during their stay in the Republic of Poland. It also entitles them, when accompanied by a travel document, to cross the border multiple times without the need for a visa.

Apply for a visa in Poland. What documents are required to obtain a visa?
To prepare your visa application, please gather the following:
- A color photograph measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm. The photo should be clear, taken on a white background, and printed on high-quality paper. It must not be older than 6 months and should be taken straight on both sides, from the top of the head to the shoulders, with the face occupying 70-80% of the photo. Headgear must be removed. Specific requirements apply for those wearing glasses: the frame should not cover the eyes, glasses should be transparent with no tinting or anti-glare.
- A passport issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months from the expected return date, with a minimum of 2 blank pages for visas.
- Health insurance valid in the territory of the European Union for at least EUR 30,000.
- A copy of the document proving your identity and legal residence in the consular district of the post office where you are applying for a visa.
- Documents confirming the availability of sufficient financial means for the entire period of your intended stay in the Schengen area (such as a bank statement for the last 3 months or a certificate of current income from your place of work for the last 3 months).
